Avascular necrosis of femoral head in a 25 years old boy.

Avascular necrosis of the Femoral head.


Case summary: This is an x-ray of a young boy who came with pain in his right hip for last one year. he was doing his job in Italy but for pain he returned home. X-ray shows that there is subchondral sclerosis and crescent sign in the right femoral head. Crescent sign is there.



Treatment: He should go a replacement surgery of his right hip.

'Fetus in fetu' man has recovered from Surgery.

Abdul Malek, the 'fetus in fetu' man has recoverd from his surgery. Talking with him he said that he feels better without the heavy tumor.



While discussing with the chief surgeon, Sayed Shirajul Karim, Chairman of Department of Surgery, BSMMU confirmed the case as "fetus in Fetu". He also said that Abdul Malek may enjoy Normal living like others.
