Avascular necrosis of femoral head in a 25 years old boy.

Avascular necrosis of the Femoral head.


Case summary: This is an x-ray of a young boy who came with pain in his right hip for last one year. he was doing his job in Italy but for pain he returned home. X-ray shows that there is subchondral sclerosis and crescent sign in the right femoral head. Crescent sign is there.



Treatment: He should go a replacement surgery of his right hip.
